Our mission with each club;

  • To end the season with no regrets.

  • Not wanting to take off their jerseys when the season is over due to loving and caring for one another.

  • To help athletes and teams put themselves in a position to max out when it matters the most.

  • Remove the shame and stigma of getting help so that a high performer will attack their mental health injury like any physical injury.

We will provide insights into why we train an elite mindset and what we train, including the building blocks and the 4 C’s of an elite mindset. The goal is also to review the most important ingredients of championship teams we have observed through the years. We will explore the key traits of elite coaches and leaders, highlighting insights from some of the coaches we work with, including Coach Kirsten Bernthal Booth from Creighton University and Coach John Cook from the University of Nebraska.

Coach Jess Knecht is a former collegiate athlete and volleyball coach. Her coaching style emphasizes mindset training, making it a key skill set for elite athletes and teams. She has greatly impacted individual high-performing athletes and teams through her coaching and mentorship. We are so excited that she is bringing her talent, passion, personality, and energy to the Max Out Mindset team.

Coach Scott Papek is an elite mindset coach, mentor and basketball coach. Understanding the unique challenges athletes face, such as building confidence and performing under pressure, Coach Papek focuses on training the 4 C's of an elite mindset—Commitment, Confidence, Concentration, and Composure. When working with teams, the focus is on building Ultimate Trust, effective communication and understanding what each teammate needs when they are struggling on the court.

“I appreciate you working with our team this season. The information and training was highly valuable to the athletes and coaches and was a big reason for our success this season. More importantly, it helped give them some tools they can take to their college programs and life afterward. We really enjoyed every session, and it was great to see the girls buy in and embrace the information. I look forward to a continued partnership with Max Out Mindset and to seeing the benefits it will bring to the club going forward. Thank you!” -Carl DeFriez, Director of Coaching, Revolution Volleyball Academy
